Interdenominational, indigenous Christian mission organization
About Life Light
We train and empower Christian leaders, operate children’s homes and Christian schools, and minister to the poorest of the poor.
We believe the church in India should use model that is self-supporting, self-governing and self-propagating. The goal for our mission is to become a self-sustaining New Testament Christian church, which will send people around the world with the Good News.
Today, Life Light Ministries has more than 30 missionaries planting 74 churches throughout the state, more than 150 pastors involved in our ministry programs, 60 children being cared for in the mission’s orphanage and more than 1,000 children studying in our Christian schools.
Life Light Ministries is registered as a 501(c) (3) organization based in Louisville, Kentucky, and all contributions are 100% tax deductible. All designated contributions go toward the mission field. Life Light Ministries is also registered as a nonprofit organization in India. We are blessed by an efficient Board of Directors and Advisory Committee that oversees all the financial decisions and mentors the staff.
We are located in the central part of India, near Mumbai.
Life Light Ministries is an indigenous Christian mission organization whose purpose is to empower communities and lead a national evangelistic movement in India, one of the least-reached countries in the 10/40 window.
Our focus is on India’s 47 million Marathi-speaking people group. Less than 2% of this people group are evangelical Christians.
