Native Missionary Sponsorship
When it comes to bringing the light of God’s love into India, who could be a better missionary than someone from the very people they’re reaching out to?
A native Indian has a deep understanding of the language, culture, taboos, and customs of India. This means they are better equipped to effectively evangelize that particular unreached group. They have a passion to reach their own people and can create indigenous models of evangelism and stories to reach their people group effectively. In addition, indigenous pastors and missionaries can work in a much more economical way because they don’t have the passport and visa restrictions foreigners do.
Even still, every native Indian missionary we commission has support requirements necessary to help them and their families actively share the gospel, while also helping those in need. You can sponsor these missionaries with partial, half, or monthly support of only $30, $60, or $120, respectively. This support will give an indigenous missionary the funds they need to care for the poor and sick, plant new churches, and spread a vision of the Gospel in India. They’ll also be able to attend Life Light Ministries seminars, further developing their servant-leadership gifts, become better stewards, and receive spiritual teaching they otherwise wouldn’t be able to receive from expensive, English-teaching seminaries.
Your $30 to $120/month donation will allow the native missionary to work full-time to reach the unreached people group. You can also encourage the missionary you sponsor by sending letters, being a prayer partner as they serve in the mission field, exchanging photos and even visiting them in India!
